Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Seth Cornell

Lillas Bridal Boutique was proud to be a part of Seth and Bethany's wedding day. Bethany worked with owner, Dianna Sauder of Lilla's Bridal to create her vintage inspired look. Her dress was simply breathtaking. In addition, Bethany purchased one of Dianna's handmade bridal sashes to coordinate beautifully with her gown.

Here, they share some of their most special moments.
1.Tell us about THE dress and what inspired your look.

I. LOVE. THIS. DRESS.  The inspiration for my look all came once Seth and I chose our venue. We landed a spot at Lakeview Farms-- the location was absolutely beautiful and the reception was to be held in this gorgeous, rustic, restored barn -- so right off the bat I wanted something to go with our "rustic" yet "chic" theme. When I started looking for my wedding gown, I knew I wanted a dress with lace, something soft and chic, and of course I needed a little bling. To be honest, the gown I ended up choosing wasn't necessarily what I originally thought I would have picked. But I'm so glad I did! It had the lace and the fit that I wanted, we added the belt for bling, and the birdcage veil was the perfect piece to top it all off! In the end, I was more than happy with how the whole look came together! It fit our venue and theme and ME- perfectly!

2. What were the most important details to pulling off your dream wedding?
In my opinion, Pinterest has become a game changer for wedding planning, and I definitely took advantage of that! I was able to take so many great ideas from there and even add my own twist to make everything fit our taste, venue, and theme. We planned our wedding in a fairly short amount of time, so I wanted to get as many things crossed off of our list as possible- the sooner the better. Once we booked all of the "big things"-- the venue, the photographer, the caterer, etc ...the rest was the smaller details.. though overwhelming at first, over time, seemed to just fall into place. I made a lot of my own decorations, flower arrangements, etc, so there were definitely stressful moments, but Seth helped keep me grounded. We tried to set aside specific "date nights" to just go out and enjoy being together, away from all the planning. That really helped. And to future brides-- on the day of the wedding- just enjoy it! All the hard work and planning is over, so let go of any remaining stress and take in every moment as you celebrate the love and commitment of you and your future hubby!! :)

3. What was the most memorable moment?

One of my favorite moments from that day was our "first look."  I would highly recommend this to any bride! I'll never forget the look on Seth's face when he turned around and saw me for the first time in my dress! He made me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt! Having those moments together, just the two of us, was so special and we STILL talk about it. It gave us a chance to see each other with no one else nearby, which was nice, because it was really the only alone time we had together all day. The photographers stood at a distance capturing our sweet moment, yet we still had privacy to say whatever we wanted to each other and to just be us. :)

Lastly, the bride says this:
Thanks for being so wonderful, sweet, and helpful in the process of finding my perfect gown! You were a pleasure to work with!
I absolutely LOVED my dress and got SOOO many compliments on it!!!

Love,
Bethany
